INTRODUCTION TO SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING

What is Social Media? What are the fundamentals? How does this all impact on my business? We begin our course by covering the basics, showing you exactly why your business should be using Social Media Marketing as a tool to reach more customers.

We introduce social content and the benefits of using it to reach more followers, we talk about building a community and what it can do for our brand, and we look at the importance of mobile platforms in the world of Social Media.

2. LOENG

VIDEO CONTENT, THE FUTURE OF SOCIAL MEDIA? (YOUTUBE)

There are many forms and approaches to Social Media content, with video becoming more and more popular in recent years. We explore the main risks and rewards of using video content, and look at the past, present and future of the world of video.

We focus on YouTube in this lesson, covering a range of topics like creating and maintaining our account, uploading and editing videos with in-house editing software, and managing our playlists.

3. LOENG

LEARNING TO MONETISE SOCIAL MEDIA

In this lesson, we begin to think about social media from a business perspective. How can we use our quality content to generate measurable commercial gain?

We explore the world of Ecommerce, look at some different models and approaches, and learn how to optimise our content and channels to guarantee a high return on investment for our business.

4. LOENG

ADVERTISING, TARGETING & INCREASING OUR REACH (FACEBOOK)

Now that we understand the basics of monetization, we can begin our study of Social Media advertising. It is important to know how and why advertising has become so important, and why our organic content does not have the same impact it once had.

Facebook provides a great tool for studying advertising, and we took a look at what the Ads Manager can do for us. We place particular emphasis on targeting options, which can make or break any advertising campaign we have.

5. LOENG

OUR PLACE IN THE COMMUNITY (TWITTER)

In this lesson we look at immersing ourselves in the world of Social Media, taking advantage of tools like hashtags and trends to keep up to date with everything around us.

What better way to interact with our followers and build a community than Twitter? We talk about the fast-paced nature of the platform, how we can use this to our advantage, and look at some tools to keep our content relevant and engaging.

6. LOENG

MANAGING OUR REPUTATION

One of the most crucial aspects of Social Media Marketing is keeping on top of our reputation. This lesson will show you the severe damage that bad reviews can do to your brand, and how to avoid this with simple processes and best practices.

We look at case studies of good and bad reputation management, and introduce some valuable tools we can use to manage our reputation in the digital space.

7. LOENG

SOCIAL TECHNIQUES TO FURTHER YOUR BRAND (INSTAGRAM)

In a world full of digital content, how can we stand out from the crowd? This lesson introduces some key techniques we can use to make our profiles and visual content truly shine.

Instagram is a great platform to look at when discussing many of these techniques, and we show you exactly how they work with practical demonstrations and case studies of several successful profiles.

DATA ANALYSIS: OUR PATH TO SUCCESS

In this lesson we discuss the importance of analysing our data to understand the impact of our Social Media efforts. We introduce many processes and tools which will help guide our decision making so we can alter our campaigns for maximum impact.

Remember, data drives decisions for professional marketers and allows you to take control of your own destiny in the social space.
